She’s my little treasure-hunter who loves to search for things, so finding hidden objects is right up her alley. Another one of her favorites is Hidden Pictures. She especially likes That’s Silly-a colorful illustration of a scene that includes silly and funny images. My preschooler, Livia, loves High Five magazine. Furthermore, the magazine hones skills that prepare young kids for reading, math, science, art, and many other areas of learning. There’s nothing better than feeding their curiosity with stories, games, and activities that provide a wealth of information in a fun and engaging way. High Five magazine is especially designed and created with the inquisitive preschoolers and kindergarteners in mind. Why? Because of all its amazing content, that’s why! The eagerness instantly turns into full-blown excitement whenever my husband announces, “You’ve got mail.” They both literally jump for joy upon receiving their High Five and Highlights magazines. They are always so eager to see what’s inside. Leila and Livia often accompany their dad to collect mail from the mailbox. Additionally, Livia also received a new subscription to High Five magazine from Gran. And just this summer (a few months before her sixth birthday), it was updated to Highlights magazine. Then at age two, her subscription was upgraded to High Five magazine. She was gifted an annual subscription to Hello magazine, courtesy of Gran (my mother-in-law who is an avid reader herself). When she was about a year old, she received a special present that would foster her love of reading.
